The David Fearn Electric Propulsion Laboratory is a state of the art electric propulsion and space systems testing laboratory, suitable for testing various types of electric propulsion systems in particular small to medium plasma based thrusters (gridded ion thrusters, Hall thrusters). It is used regularly by industry, research and development projects, and in the qualification of ESA electric propulsion technology.
