MOD Aberporth and QinetiQ West Wales UAV Centre provide controlled environments for the development, testing and training with Unmanned Airborne Systems (UAS). QinetiQ’s UAS can be specially deployed for use in sensor trials, surveillance during missile firings and for potential future Space launch surveillance. These are LTPA facilities so MOD permission must be sought by third parties who wish to use the facilities.
