​This theme addresses the use of new and emerging ICT tools and information methodologies in next generation manufacturing technologies, processes and systems.  The major opportunity we see in this theme is using Industry4.0 principles to enable scalable growth, autonomous robots, and big data + connectivity.​​
Digital Engineering: MTC has pioneered the uptake of digital manufacturing in the UK mainly through hosting the leading conference in Europe every year “Digitalising Manufacturing”. We are leading in implementation of Industry4.0, Machine-to-machine interfaces, AI, digital twin, collaborative robots, etc.​​
