The Advanced Forming Research Centre of the University of Strathclyde is a globally-recognised centre of excellence and research in innovative manufacturing technologies, R&D, metal forming and forging. AFRC works with all types of organisations: from global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) all the way through to local manufacturing companies. AFRC is at the heart of Scotland’s manufacturing research and development sector and is the country’s only High Value Manufacturing Catapult centre; one of only seven in the UK.
